Filmer Park

Welcome to the Peninsula Cricket Club

The Peninsula Cricket Club (PCC) is a family orientated club that was founded in 1974 on the Redcliffe Peninsula located in South-East Queensland.

The club is based at Filmer Park in Woody Point and participates in both summer and winter cricket in the Warehouse Cricket Association Queensland competitions and the Community Cricket Championship.

Competitions

Typically, we will enter a number of teams in both the Saturday and Sunday competitions covering the various grades of senior cricket. 

Juniors and women players are welcome to participate.

Training

Training takes place under lights from 5.30pm on Thursday nights during the season (summer & winter).

Location

As well as the turf pitch at Filmer Park we also have fixtures on the synthetic pitch at Langdon Park in Margate. 

Our facilities are shared by the Redcliffe City Junior Cricket Club who enter the summer competitions provided by the Brisbane North Junior Cricket Association.

Our club house at Filmer Park incorporates:

  • Licensed bar

  • Take-away food (available on game days)

  • Home and Visitors changing rooms with toilet and shower facilities

  • Electronic score board

  • Five deck wicket block

  • Five crickets nets + bowling machines

  • Video camera recording games

  • Ability to login from anywhere that has internet connection to watch cricket
